“session_start() fails to create sessions on FatCow (btw: I was not impressed with their service)

You can manage your PHP scripts by editing your php.ini file at: http://URL/ . Please check it and let me know how it works. Also, if the issue persists, please get back to me with the exact URL for your Web site where your PHP script is located and receiving error message so that I can assist you further. I have checked your account ad noticed that the session path for your account is not set. In order to set the 'session.save_path' for your account in the php.ini file, please follow the steps given below:
- Log into the Control Panel using your account username and password.
- Click on 'CGI and Scripted Language Support' under 'Scripting and Add-Ons'.
- Click on 'PHP Scripting'.
- If php.ini file is disabled for editing, then click on the 'Edit' button.
- Search for 'session.save_path' in the php.ini file and replace the existing path with the below mentioned path.
- Click on the 'Save' button. The 'session.save_path' for your account is: /cgi-bin/tmp
